Jazz with a difference! This exciting Norwegian band uses the rhythms and melodies of the music from Southern India as basis for their practice with improvisation, fusion, the experimental and jazz.
This quartet was formed by jazz students from Grieg Academy, Norway. The band uses elements from South Indian music, both rhythmically and melodically, focusing on improvisation, fusion, experimental and jazz. The quartet consists of Pax Demir (Percussion), Andreas Hesselberg Hatzikiriakidis (Trumpet), Peter Dybvig Søreide (Guitar), and Torkil Hjelle (Bass).
