Next Steps in Music

Marie-Claire Howorth will present a fun music workshop for children aged 4 – 7 years old, using songs and games to introduce the children to the basic components of music.

Suitable for children aged 4 – 7 years old with parent/guardian supervision.

In collaboration with Marie-Claire Howorth and Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias.

Marie-Claire Howorth is an inspirational creative professional musician with a proven track record of working on projects with various partners. An established woodwind teacher for Gwasanaeth Cerdd Ysgolion Gwynedd a Môn and clarinet and piano teacher for Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias. She currently studies Psychology of Music and is interested in educational development and well-being empowered by music throughout life.

Marie-Claire writes the lesson plans and songs for Camau Cerdd a music project set up in collaboration with Canolfan Gerdd WIlliam Mathias for children aged 0 - 7. She shares all aspects of her innovative methods with Camau Cerdd practitioners who she trains.
